Not only this, former Chief Minister and BJP leader Vasundhara Raje Scindia has also criticized the film. He tweeted, "Swabhimani, loyal and hearty emperor Maharaja Surajmal's misrepresentation done by the filmmaker in 'Panipat' is condemnable."

What is being opposed?
Actually, the Jats of Bharatpur in Rajasthan especially have reservations about the film. He feels that Maharaja Surajmal has been misrepresented in the film. He says that in 'Panipat' the great Maratha warrior Sadashiv Rao Bhau (the role played by Arjun Kapoor) asks Maharaja Surajmal to help against the Afghans but Surajmal wants something in return. When his demand is not met, he refuses to support Sadashiva in the war. According to people, Surajmal was portrayed as a greedy ruler in the film, which is not true.

There is a problem with language too

Many are also demonstrating on the fact that the local people featured in the film are speaking Rajasthani and Haryanvi while they speak Braj Bhasha (Western Hindi language) completely.

Randeep Hooda said on the dispute
In this whole case, there has also been a reaction of actor Randeep Hooda, who is himself a Jat. He wrote on Twitter, 'It is not necessary to glorify one community to downsize the other. This mostly leads to the wrong effect. I look forward to more maturity in the future.

Not only this, the actor also wrote a message in the tweet for those who get angry. Randeep wrote, "For those who are hurt - this is just a film, don't add your ancestors to it."

Talk about the film 'Panipat', it has been released with Karthik Aryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey starrer 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'. Karthik's film continues to do well.
