Union Minister Amit Shah on Saturday challenged Congress leader Rahul Gandhi to prove that the Citizenship Amendment Act would take away the citizenship of Indian Muslims. Describing people as anti-Dalit against the CAA, Shah said that there is nothing in the new law that would take away the citizenship of Muslims. He accused Rahul Gandhi of misleading people.
Amit Shah said- I challenge Rahul Gandhi to read CAA fully. If they see anything in it that will take away the citizenship of Indian Muslims, then our Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi is ready to argue with them.
Speaking at a gathering in Hubli, Karnataka over CAA as part of the BJP's nationwide Jan Jagran campaign, Amit Shah alleged that the Congress was working to divide the country based on religion.
The BJP national president also accused the Congress, Communist Party, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, ZS, BSP, SP for politicizing the Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA) for the vote bank. Let us know that Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa, Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, and many BJP leaders attended this event in this rally.
