Clash in Murshidabad: Protests are running place across the country against the CAA. The clash between two groups took violent forms during a demonstration in the Murshidabad district of West Bengal. Indigenous bombs were fired between the two groups and bullets were also fired. Police said that two people were killed and one was injured during the clash. The injured person was immediately taken to the hospital.
The official said that the injured have been admitted to Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital. After reports of violence surfaced, a police team was sent to the spot for control. The police officer said that debate started between the two groups in Jalangi over CAA which turned into a clash.

At the same time, 60 Muslim women sitting on a dharna at Park Circus Ground in Kolkata continued their protest on Wednesday for the 23rd day. This ground is being called 'Shaheen Bagh of Kolkata'. These include housewives to professional women.

CAA Protest: Housewife Parveen Nazir, one of the women sitting on the protest, believes that the biggest strength of this demonstration is that the protesters are not associated with any political group. She said, "Our only identity is that we are Indians, and we are women, who are not afraid of any power." Has been living here for centuries, attending Durga Puja celebrations with Hindus.
