India on Tuesday strongly summoned a senior Pakistan High Commission official, taking strong note of the incident of the kidnapping of a Hindu girl from a wedding pavilion in Sindh province of Pakistan and issued a strong objection letter. It also asked the Government of Pakistan to investigate the matter and take immediate action to ensure the safety and security of its citizens, including the minority Hindu community.
India asked Pakistan to take quick steps to bring the perpetrators of hate and heinous crime to justice. An official source said that India summoned a senior official of Pakistan High Commission and issued a strongly worded objection letter on the kidnapping of a Hindu girl from a marriage ceremony with the help of local police on January 25 in the city of Haila in Sindh province.
Let me tell you that the case of a 24-year-old Hindu girl was allegedly abducted by armed assailants in Pakistan's Sindh province and forcibly converting and marrying a Muslim youth. According to local reports, the girl was abducted by armed men, some of whom were in police uniform.
