India vs Sri Lanka T20: The first T20 ground to be played in Guwahati on Sunday between India and Sri Lanka was canceled due to wet conditions. The toss occurred on time, but the rain became a barrier before the match started. the match had to be canceled without bowling.

Indian captain Virat Kohli won the toss and handed Sri Lanka bat, but before the game started, heavy rain started. After the rain stopped, there were some wet spots on the pitch, these were the spots where the ball would pitch. So the stadium staff started to dry the pitch, but the equipment with which they started trying was ridiculous.

The umpires decided to cancel the match after the last inspection at 9:46 am local time, leaving a large number of spectators present at the stadium despite the rain. The second T20(India vs Sri Lanka T20:) International of the current series of three matches will be played on 7 January in Indore.
