Amit Thackeray, son of MNS chief Raj Thackeray was inducted into the party at the party convention of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) today. That before the General Assembly, MNS has also launched its party's new flag. The new flag of the party is orange in color which calls for the glorious rule of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The new saffron flag has the Rajamudra of Shivaji Maharaj's rule printed. Before releasing the party flag, Raj remembered Chacha Bala Saheb Thackeray.

Significantly, today, Shiv Sena is the 94th birth anniversary of the founder Bala Saheb. Hence, this special flag was launched on the birth anniversary of Bala Saheb Thackeray, the founder of Shiv Sena and uncle of Raj Thackeray.

The preparations for the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena General Assembly in Goregaon, Mumbai, are in full swing and the entire scene has changed. MNS workers wearing saffron-colored caps shouted slogans of Jai Bhavani and Jai Shivaji.

There are speculations that MNS chief Raj Thackeray may bring his son Amit Thackeray into active politics on the occasion of the General Assembly of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena.
