Prime Minister Narendra Modi also discussed the Coronavirus on Saturday on the occasion of Jan Aushadhi Day. PM Modi appealed to people to stay away from rumors related to Coronavirus. Prime Minister Modi said, 'I appeal to the countrymen to stay away from rumors related to Coronavirus. There is a need to follow the advice of doctors in this regard.
PM Modi said that the whole world is cultivating the habit of Namaste if for some reason we have given up this habit, then it is the right time to reintroduce this habit instead of joining hands.
Prime Minister Modi said, 'Every month, more than one crore families are taking medicines from Jan Aushadhi Kendras. I appeal to the state governments to ask their doctors to prescribe generic medicines. He said that around 6,000 Jan Aushadhi Centers across the country have helped people in saving two thousand to two and a half thousand crore rupees.
PM Modi said that the new arrangements made in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have accelerated the implementation of the schemes. Earlier it was very difficult to implement the schemes of the Center there, now these bottlenecks have been removed. In the last year and a half, an unprecedented rapid development is going on in Jammu and Kashmir. More than 3.5 lakh associates have been linked with Ayushman Yojana, three lakh elderly, women and PwDs have been linked with the government pension scheme.
